Buccal face massage is a technique that was developed by the French biochemist and beautician Joellie Ciocco.
Essentially, the facial massage of the cheek area is carried out both outside and inside the oral cavity. Although the idea of massaging the inside of the cheeks at first glance may seem strange, but it’s completely safe since the massage therapist does it wearing latex gloves.
The buccal face massage procedure consists of two parts – sculpting and buccal massage itself.
The first part, sculptural massage, includes applying external effects on the facial muscles. The massage is carried out on the surface of the face, with stimulation of the chewing and facial muscles.
The second part, is the buccal massage itself, is the most effective one, because due to working out the muscles from the inside, blood circulation is improved and puffiness is removed. With age, our skin tissues are sagging, thereby obstructing blood circulation and squeezing the lymphatic system, where buccal face massage allows you to disperse congestion and opens the way for blood supply. As a result, the general condition of the skin is improved; stiffness and tension in the jaw joints are relieved. This massage can also improve facial symmetry by reducing lockjaw and swelling.
One of the main positive aspects of this technique is that the face becomes more toned, the cheeks will shaped, and the nasolabial folds and wrinkles around the lips become almost invisible. Buccal facial massage is also recommended for stroke patients, as it will help to cope with muscle atrophy and restore muscle tone.
During the massage, the natural mechanisms of cell regeneration are triggered; improve microcirculation in the tissues; jaw muscles regain their former tone and the ability to relax; as a result the following effects are observed:
– the oval of the face is tightened;
– facial wrinkles are smoothed;
– puffiness goes away;
– the nasolabial folds intensity is significantly reduced;
– improve lymph drainage;
– the hydro-lipid balance of the skin is restored.
The facial muscles, same as the other muscles of the body, lose their shape without constant care and “training”. With help of this specific massage, you can live without invasive procedures or aesthetic injections.
It is recommended to take Buccal face massage when you are 30+ years old. Full course of massage is advised, which should be carried out 2-3 times a week, with an interval of 2-3 days. The exact number of procedures in the course depends on the age and type of skin, as well as the individual issues of the patient.
